This past Tuesday, the Hornets faced their first round of DIAA playoff battles against a scrappy DMA. However, with full support from faculty, students, family, and friends, our girls put on a show that led them to shut out DMA 7-0. This shutout marks our goalie’s, Grace Hill ’24, 9th shutout victory of the season. Coach Kelsey attributes this win to an entire team effort as we held strong and possessed the ball offensively for almost the entirety of the game. Defensive player Evie Hill ’22 had an incredible goal, while Ella Fontanazza ’26, Teryn Singer ’22, Lydia Colasante ’23, Kali Clayton ’23, and Rachael Whitehead ’23 combined to make up the remaining goals.
The Hornets are now 13-3 and will continue to dance as they ride the bus to face Sussex Academy at 11 a.m. on Saturday, November 13.
