On Wednesday, February 16, Tatnall/DMA ice hockey played HAVOC North. The game started off in the first period primarily played in the Sea Hornets’ defensive zone. Down 4-0 by the end of the first, our Sea Hornets came back in the second scoring 4 goals. The first goal was scored off the stick of James Staintfleur ‘24 at the goal line and bounced off the goalie’s skate. He was assisted by Evelyn Hill ‘22 and Andrew Henry '22 (DMA). The second goal was scored by Evelyn Hill '22 She was assisted by Joey DiPierro '23 who took a slap shot from the point, the goalie gave up a rebound and Evelyn buried it into the back of the net. The third goal was scored by Andrew Henry '22 (DMA) from the top of the slot, hitting the net top corner. He was assisted by Evelyn Hill '22 who took herself out of the battle in the corner and passed the puck to Henry. The last goal scored was by Danny Garvin '25(DMA). Garvin scored off the point, sliding under the goalie's pads and into the net. He was assisted by Johnny Garvin '24 (DMA). At the end of the second period, the score was 4-5. Justin Marvel '23 had 38 saves throughout the game.
