Tatnall 0, Wilmington Friends 8 - Tuesday, April 26 @ Wilmington Friends

After going through a bit of a slump, Tatnall Girls Soccer was ready for a W as they warmed up to face Howard. Tatnall put them under constant pressure, forcing the ball into their half for the majority of the game. We were unable to put the ball in the back of the net until Riley Greene ‘24 finished a cross from Sarah Kramer ‘24 that sailed just over the goalie. Despite a persistent effort, 1-0 remained until halftime. In the second half, the girls stepped up the intensity and put the Howard goalkeeper under constant pressure until Greene was able to score her second of the game off of a corner kick. Greene stepped up to the penalty spot and converted to complete the hat trick with just under 15 left to play. Way to go, Riley!

Following this high, the girls faced an incredibly tough Wilmington Friends. Despite their resilient efforts, they just could not find the back of the net as they dropped to the Quakers 8-0.
