On Tuesday, March 28, the girl's Tatlax crew opened its season with a conference game against St. Andrew's. The Hornets took control right from the first draw and scored five quick goals within the first two and a half minutes of play. It was cold and windy, but that didn't stop the Tatlax team. Together they won 18-5 with goals scored by 11 different players--Teryn Singer ’22, Lilly Secundy ’22, Lydia Colasante ’23 (3), Kali Clayton ’23, Rachael Whitehead ’23, Ivy Qualls ’24 (4), Kate O'Neal ’24, Tessa Colasante ’25 (2), Charlotte Wilkinson ’25 (2), Paige Hiller ’25, and Grace Willard ’25. Assists were added by Clayton (2), Colasante (2), Qualls, and Singer, and Devon Chipman ’24 tallied six saves in goal.

Shout out to Lydia for a great behind-the-back goal, Rachael for her defensive skills, Ivy for her consistency throughout the game, and Lilly for leaving it all on the field and winning the game-day socks. The Hornets will play Episcopal Academy today, March 31, and continue with Ursuline Academy on Saturday, April 2.
