Throughout the summer, various visual and performing arts camps are offered for all ages. Click on the weeks below to find offerings in ceramics, art, drama workshops, musical theater, and dance.
June 9-13Child Drama Workshop: Moana: The Story Continues (Full-day 9:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.)
Become a Wayfinder and journey beyond the reef to find the heart of Te Fiti. As your child sets sail as Moana, Maui, Hei Hei, or Pua they will learn to dance with the waves, sing like the sea, and act like a village chief. This epic saga will be enacted as Moana hears from her distant ancestors and must undo the demigod's curse while fighting the threat of Nalo, the evil storm god. Everyone on this adventure has a role on the island while they create a new original play. Professional choreography and/ or stage combat will be included in this week-long ensemble building camp. Friends and family gather to enjoy a live performance on the final day of camp. Costumes, accessories, props, make-up, and a souvenir playbill are included in this camp. Campers will have the opportunity to use the Tatnall pools during this camp week as well! This camp is designed for both beginner and more advanced students so there's just no telling how far you'll go!

June 16 - 20Photography Camp (Half Day Morning)
Calling all Photographers! If you want to learn more about photography, this camp is for you! Campers will learn the basics of photography, setting up a shot, and using a DSLR camera. Projects will consist of product photography and lighting to freezing water in mid-air! No camera equipment is required in the camp, but you are encouraged to bring your camera (DSLR camera only, please).

It's time to get messy in the Ceramics room! Campers will get to experience the use of our pottery wheels and much more in the ceramics room! Projects will range from creating functional ware to cartoon sculptures. Please wear old clothing because we will be getting dirty. Clay projects will be available for pick-up on July 18th, 2025, in the Beekley Lobby.

Sewing Camp: Build-a-Stuffie (Half Day Afternoon)
Join us for a fun and creative adventure where you'll design and make your very own custom stuffie! In this camp session, students will explore the exciting world of sewing while bringing their plush creations to life. Using simple hand-sewing techniques and an introduction to the sewing machine, students will learn how to stitch, stuff, and embellish their unique stuffed animal or character. With a focus on creativity and hands-on skills, kids will choose fabrics, create fun shapes, and add personal touches to their stuffies, all while building confidence in their sewing abilities. By the end of the week, each camper will have a one-of-a-kind cuddly companion to take home and be proud of!

are animal friends/family that promote kindness, respect and gratitude. All of the Peppa Pig characters

Your child will work with a professional Educational Theatre Director, focusing on the art of
improvisation though individualized instruction. Campers will work together to help create the story in

August 11-15Child Drama Workshops: Bluey’s Summer Adventures - The Stage Play (Full Day)
Wackadoo! It is camp time. This episode of Bluey is called Bluey’s Summer Adventures: The Stage Play! Join Bluey, Bingo, Socks, Muffin, and the rest of the pack while they learn new tricks like acting, singing, and dancing. Based on the popular and award-winning children’s series “Bluey”, your child will explore the art of acting and pretending in this play-based, educationally interactive camp. Your child will work with a professional educational theatre director and choreographer, focusing on the art of improvisation though individualized instruction. On this adventure your lil pup will help create an original play, for real life! On the final day of camp there will be a performance that will be a treat for the whole family. Oh Biscuits! Whether a student is an elite athlete or is trying a sport for the first time, every child has the opportunity to learn, grow, and compete during Tatnall’s sports camps.
Tatnall Field Hockey Camp (Half Day 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.)
Join us for our half day field hockey camp, designed for players of all skill levels! Whether you're a beginner to looking to improve your game, our camp offers a fun and supportive environment to learn the fundamentals, develop new skills and boost your confidence on the field. With experienced coaches and focus on teamwork, you'll leave ready to take your field hockey to the next level! Bring a stick, shin guards, mouth guard, and refillable water bottle! If you do not have a field hockey stick, please let us know and one can be provided to you.

Tatnall Lacrosse Camp (Half Day Afternoon 12:30 p.m. - 3:30 p.m.)
Learn to love the fast and fun game of girl's lacrosse! This week-long Hornet Girl's Lacrosse camp will offer skill introduction and development, situational games and competitons for girls entering K through 8th grade. Led by Tatnall Head Coach, Ruth Hiller, we will focus on developing fundamental skills for those new to the sport as well as those looking forward to middle school. Players will need a lacrosse stick, goggles, a mouth guard, and sneakers or turf shoes. For those that don't have a lacrosse stick or goggles, ones will be provided. Girls should also bring a refillable water bottle, a snack and sunscreen. Open to all skill levels.

Then, our group will embark on daily trips to local venues to explore our area's adventure opportunities: horseback trail riding, river tubing, mountain biking, fishing, rock climbing (at DE rock gym), and bouldering (at local state parks). To wrap up the week, we camp overnight at Brandywine Creek State Park. Your camper will have a blast and gain competence, confidence, and leadership skills with the expert guidance of former Tatnall teacher and experienced outdoorsman Steve Wermus.

Hornet Co-ed Basketball Camp (Full Day)
Tatnall's very own co-ed basketball camp run by Boys Varsity Head Coach Mardy Collins and Girls Varsity Head Coach, Jack Cella. Camp activities include learning the fundamental skills of basketball, fun team building activities, 5-v-5 games, foul shooting competitions, 3-point competitions and more! Bring your bathing suit and towel because after working on the court you can cool off in Tatnall's outdoor pool. Campers will need to bring a bag lunch every day (we will break for lunch everyday at noon.) We will also have a snack stand available with various snacks such a Gatorade, water, candy, chips, soft pretzels, etc. Drop off will begin at 9 a.m. and pick up will begin at 3:15 p.m. Campers will ned to be signed in and out by a parent or guardian. Camp is held Monday through Friday.
