Nasir Obey '22
Nasir plays consistently strong defense for the Hornets, and he is a leader both on and off the field. Younger players look up to the example he sets, and they appreciate his approachability and enthusiasm for the game of lacrosse. As a long-pole defenseman, he is a consistent rock in front of the goal, and he works hard every day. While it is fairly unusual for a defenseman to bring the ball up the field and score a goal, Nasir has been working toward it all season. In the final regular season game against Wilmington Charter, he did just that, and the crowd went wild! Washington College is getting a terrific athlete in Nasir, and we all can't wait to hear of his many feats in the next four years.
