Since helping win Tatnall’s first-ever state championship in girls’ lacrosse and being named the Delaware girls’ lacrosse player of the year her senior year, Lydia Colasante '23 has been busy racking up the accolades.

This summer, Lydia and her U20 US Women's Lacrosse team traveled to Hong Kong to compete in the 2024 World Lacrosse Women's World Championship.  After advancing through the tournament with ease, the US team defeated Canada 23-6 in the finals and returned home as World Champions!

Lydia was a five-star recruit for Boston College, the number 4 overall recruit, and the number 3 midfielder in the 2023 class. In her debut year at Boston College, she was named to the All-ACC Freshman Team, landed at number 3 on the Inside Lacrosse Women’s Power 100 Freshman rankings list, was crowned a national champion, and graced the cover of US Lacrosse Magazine. You may have spotted her shutting down opponents and smiling big on ESPN.

It's been a show-stopping few years for Lydia, as she was crowned a 2023 DIAA High School State Champion, 2024 NCAA D1 Women's Lacrosse Champion, and now 2024 U20 Women's Lacrosse World Champion.

From Barley Mill Road to Boston and beyond, Lydia doesn’t stop impressing, and we never tire of watching her shine.
