On Saturday, October 16, the Tatnall football team handled business and defeated Christiana High School 42-0. The Hornets took the lead early in the first quarter and never looked back. Our boys continued their 3 game win streak and have outscored their opponents 123-6 in the last 3 games. Julian Campanelli ’24, RJ Moore ’25, Luke Morgan ’24, Jeff Homer ’23 and Matt Homer ’23 all scored their first touchdowns of the season. Some other notable stats include Rashan Lamons ’24, who tallied 12 carries for a total of 142 yards, ran for 1 touchdown, and even threw a touchdown pass. Additionally, Justin Smith ’23 combined with his teammates for 4 tackles, 4 tackles for a loss, 1 forced fumble, and ran for 68 yards.
Our boys are currently 3-3 and looking to keep this momentum going strong as they face Wilmington Charter this Saturday, October 23, for our Homecoming celebration. Our senior Hornets will also be celebrated as this is our last home game of the season.
