Last Friday, the Boys Swim Team faced their toughest competition of the season against Brandywine HS. Despite the loss, we had a number of great individual performances. Briggs Light ’22 (500 Free; 100 Free), Mason Kohl ’26 (50 Back), and Jacob Politis ’26 (100 Breast) all had season-best times.

Although outgunned in the pool, the Girls Swim Team put forth a strong effort in their loss to Brandywine on Friday. Stella Petersen ’25 won the 200 Free. She also took 2nd in the 100 Fly. Anna Hammerschmidt ’26 also took 2nd in both the 200 IM and 100 Free. Petersen and Hammerschmidt combined with Alexa Brice ’22 and Morgan Noel ’26 to take second in the 200 Free Relay.

Following this tough meet, the team rallied together to put their best foot forward as they faced a strong Wilmington Friends School on Tuesday, January 18.
