Tatnall 132, Caravel 210 - Wednesday, April 13 @ Bidermann Golf Club
Last Friday, April 8, the Hornet Golf team faced off against Salesianum. SALS 136-152 It was a close match in the beginning but as we went on, we started to separate from Salesianum and eventually beat them with an all-time lowest score of 136 and with Matt Homer ’23 scoring a 31 (5 under par) which is his personal best in match play. Matt Homer’23 medaled for the match and August Sharp ’22 shot a 42 which is his personal best for match play as well. Tatnall walked away with a dominant performance beating Sals 136-152. They continue this winning streak in their Tri-Meet on Tuesday, April 12, against WFS and St. Marks. Tatnall won 154-180-182.
Following this win, the very next day, the Hornets geared up to play against Caravel. Antonio Devaughn ’24 and Hunter Biden ’24 suited up to play in their first matches of the season. Tatnall hit the ground running with another dominant performance as they toppled Caravel 132 - 210. This score beat our school’s record as the lowest score since 2008.
Hornet Golf remains hungry as they face Charter School of Wilmington today.
