On Saturday, October 23, the Hornets hosted Wilmington Charter for their final home game of the season. Tatnall took the lead early in a competitive game and never looked back on their way to a 34-14 homecoming victory and a winning record. Contributing to this win, Rahshan LaMons ’24 tallied 269 rushing yards and 3 touchdowns, Nasir Obey ’22 had 53 rushing yards, 1 touchdown, and 9 tackles, and Matt Homer ’23 had 8 tackles, 5 sacks, and 1 forced fumble. The Hornets have now won 4 straight games, bringing their record to 4-3 on the season.
It was also senior recognition, and we recognized seniors Charlie Simpers, Nasir Obey, Pat Obal, and Caleb Sales.
Our boys are looking to keep this positive momentum going strong as they face Glasgow away this Saturday, October 30.
