On a notable "Twosday," Tatnall's Girls Varsity Basketball capped off a historic season by knocking down a very athletic and competitive Archmere.
Our girls played a solid defensive game, limiting any offensive opportunities the Auks had. Unfortunately, the game was a little tighter than the Hornets would have liked early on due to a lid on the rim.
However, once that lid was off, and the Hornets caught their offensive stride, there was no looking back.
The Auks did not have an answer for Emma Kirby '23, who ended the night with 15 points, Bri Gautier '23, and Cherish Bryant '25, who both chipped in 10 points.
This season ended with tremendous success and high morale as the girls finished their season 16-4, losing only to top teams in the state. Our girls are still working hard in the gym as they await tournament placements on Friday, February 25.
