Tatnall will attempt to make history as we host elite runners from around the country who will attempt to officially break the 4 minute mile for the first time on Delaware soil!

The event kicks off around 5:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 9 at the newly renovated Tatnall Track (official race times will be announced next week).  Hundreds of Middle School, High School, and Masters Class runners will compete throughout the early evening leading into the Elite Runners' Main Event at twilight. Prize money will be awarded to our fastest Elite milers, including bonus prizes for anyone who breaks the 4:00 mile threshold!

Bring your running shoes or your cowbells, and be ready to watch some of the nation's fastest runners, including Tatnall's own Sam Parsons '12, race to make history.

Enjoy a night under the lights around the new track with concessions and special one-of-a-kind Delaware Mile Challenge merchandise.

Want to make your own history on the track? Friends, Families, and all children 11 and under are invited to try to set their mile record in the Community run.

Register to run here (closes at midnight tonight) or simply join us the evening of Saturday, April 9 to celebrate as a community as we hopefully witness history on the Tatnall campus.
